Hello,
a bit about me:
My research interest is in experimental condensed matter physics, more specifically in surface science or nanoscience. My main goal is to investigate the growth behavior of self-organized nanostructures at low dimensions, i.e., 0D, 1D, 2D or nanodot, nanowire/nanorod, and ultrathin films. I also investigate these self-organized nanostructures' electronic, optical, and magnetic properties. To provide a theoretical understanding of the experimental results, we use density functional theory (DFT) simulations with the Quantum Espresso and VASP codes. We are also interested in exploring the III-V nitrides on the highly mismatched substrate and their photoluminescence properties.
